Im Tay,
I am 27 years old and have just gone 10 years hairdressing.
In October 2010 i started as a salon assistant absolutely falling in love with hairdressing. I was so excited when i was offered an apprenticeship in January 2011.
I was lucky enough to work in a salon that did so much in salon training, this built my confidence that i was eligible to finish my apprenticeship in 2 and a half years.
After 8 amazing years i decided it was time to go out on my own, this is where i created Unique Hair. 2 and a half years later and its still going strong.
This is not work for me, it is something i love waking up to every morning. It is my passion and nothing makes me more happier as a hairdresser than people walking in the door saying Tay please fix this mess of hair, then walking out feeling fresh and fabulous with big smiles on their faces ready to show off their hair to everyone.
I am passionate about beautiful hair and focused on updating my education and training to keep up with the latest trends and techniques. I will push boundaries where needed (just a little bit) but my main priority is the health and condition of your hair. Slow and steady wins the race, having paitence is much needed to achieve your hair goals and keep your hair in its best condition.
